Custody and Records Contacts

Use the detention line for a current county-custody question. Use the Sheriff’s records route for a copy of a booking record, incident material held by the Sheriff, or a specific booking photograph that may be maintained and legally releasable.

The county records form says processing may take up to ten days and asks for a verified noncommercial-purpose statement under Arizona law. Release is not guaranteed. The custodian may redact or withhold protected material and should confirm current fees.

Choose the Right Office

The correct contact depends on the record and custody type. A city police report is not the same file as a county jail booking record.

• For a current Graham County booking, call Adult Detention and consult the county roster paths explained on the home page.
• For an arrest report created by Safford, Thatcher, or Pima police, contact that city or town records office.
• For a case outcome, certified filing, or warrant status, contact the court that holds the case.
• For a person in Arizona state prison or supervision, use the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation and Reentry Inmate Data Search.
• For sentenced federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration custody, use the official ICE detainee locator.
• For an emergency, call 911. The Sheriff’s records and detention numbers are not emergency lines.

Charges listed at booking are allegations, not convictions. Check the responsible court for later changes or a final disposition.
